Kung Anik-Anik Event Materials
The Client: Stickercon MNL
The Ask: Create illustrated materials for the Kung Anik-Anik event, an art market for trinkets and collectibles

Design Approach

I wanted my designs to reflect the maximalism of “anik-anik” culture. The term anik-anik is commonly associated with collections, trinkets, ephemera, and memorabilia, and so I aimed to capture that imagery in my illustrations. I wanted each of the illustrated materials to feature a snippet of the art market, from perusing through vibrant displays, to taking selfies on decorated mirrors placed on vendors’ tables
