Kiki & Tombo
This artwork is my personal take on the #GhibliRedraw trend where artists recreate scenes from Studio Ghibli films. For my redraw, I chose this scene from the film Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989), because it has always been my favorite Ghibli comfort film growing up, and it resonates even more with me currently, as an artist trying to sustain her passion for her craft despite the struggles it entails.
